Founder, Director,
Music Instructor
Since his teens Roscoe Redcross’ life has revolved
around music. That love has turned him into one the nation’s
premier music teachers. Mr. Redcross is a native of Hampton,
Virginia and graduated from Howard University where he
earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree. As a Magna
cum Laude graduate, he pursued graduate work at Teacher's
College, Columbia University where he received a Master
of Arts degree with emphasis on teaching piano in a private
studio or on the college level. |

Mr.
Redcross taught music in the Washington, D.C. public
school system for five years before moving back to Hampton
Roads
where he continued his passion
of teaching music for an
additional five years in the Hampton-Newport News school
systems. In 1983 he founded R-D Music Studio, Inc. where
he taught piano and operated that facility for 15 years
prior to founding EduStar. He currently serves as Minister
of Music at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church and has
served in this position for 26 years.
